About Michael McArdle
Michael McArdle is a PhD Researcher.
Michael is a postgraduate student of PCI College & Middlesex University, gaining his Professional Diploma in 2020 and his BSc (Hons) in 2021. Michael is a fully Registered and Accredited Psychotherapist of the IACP, BACP & NAPCP.
Michael has worked as a therapist in private practice in Longford & Spain for 2 years through languages English,
French & Spanish. Michael runs a clinic both face-to-face and online where he sees clients presenting with a wide variety of complaints. These include such things as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, Domestic Violence and much more. Working with adults, Michael has vast experience with employing CBT models to help clients achieve their goals.
Michael works as a lecturer for PCI College and has been lecturing for 9 years at another university in a different discipline. This year Michael completed his training in Traumatology & PTSD, acquiring a deeper understanding and skill set for working with more complex trauma. Michael’s passion truly is for continued learning in the field of Psychotherapy, Mindfulness and Nursing. Michael aim’s to continue learning and, where he can, impart that to others.

MSc Educational Psychology, MSc Psychoanalytic Studies, MA Addiction Studies, BSc (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy, BSc (Hons) General Nursing, Professional Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy, Professional Certificate & Diploma in CBT, Diploma in Traumatology & PTSD, Special Purpose Award (Training & Development), Professional Certificate in Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse. Michael is a Mindfulness & Compassion Teacher (IMC Qualification) and is a Compassionate Mindfulness Resillience (CMR) Teacher also and runs this 8 hour programme over 4 weeks in conjunction with MindfulnessUK.
